Blue Plate Cafe Downtown in Memphis

This place is AMAZING!!! A must for all visits to Memphis. I was in town for a long relaxing weekend and I looked up Diner's for Breakfast and this placed showed up. I can not say enough how delicious their food was! The biscuits out of this world and melt in your mouth. Pancakes are heaven! Service was on point, and they are social distancing and sanitizing. I will always come back to this place when I visit in the near future. I hate I didn't get to try dinner! I am quite sure it is equally delicious! Way to go Blue Plate Cafe!!!! You have a forever Guest here!

Fast friendly service and just about everything was as good as it could be. Biscuits and Gravy come as a SIDE to all egg breakfasts lol. It's heaven basically.

I had the worst experience at this place. The manager Tracy or whatever her name. Was extremely disrespectful and rude. Totally unprofessional and I do not recommend this place to anyone. You can tell that she was used to be rude and disrespectful to the customer. She got our entire table wrong and got mad because I let her know my order was wrong. She kept stating it was almost two o'clock and how she was ready to close up. Her attitude was to hurry us up in doing so she did not listen to what we was ordering. I will not and I repeat, I will not go back to this establishment and I will tell all my friends about my experience. I am also a travel agent, which I critique in order to make recommendations to different establishments to visit.

Cool place. Service was good and food was good. Food come out in good timing. Almost everything tasted good. Ham was a bit salty to me but my wife loved them. Pancakes was a bit dry but biscuits were the best. Coffee pretty good.

Our server Katrina whirlwinded her way between the tables while being pleasant and friendly. She is a gem! The food was great, and the portion-size to price ratio outstanding. Always a good experience at the Blue Plate Cafe!

Great breakfast in downtown. Not many places were open (COVID); this was, and the staff were friendly, the food was good and the price was right.

One of the most delicious home style breakfast I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Thanks for the great service and food!
